A brand is any territory you run as a unit: a service line like "Roof Pro" or "HVAC Plus", a client account if you're an agency, or a franchise location. Each brand keeps its own markets and ZIP codes, and admins control which brands each user can see. Brands are unlimited, and so are ZIP codes. ### Can an agency manage multiple clients in one workspace? Yes. Set up each client as a brand: unlimited brands are included, each with its own markets and ZIPs, and per-brand access controls decide who sees what. Client reporting runs on read-only share links rather than seats, and extra seats for your account team are $15/month. See the agency workflow at areaops.app/for/agencies. ### How many people can I add? The plan includes 3 team seats. Extra seats are $15/seat/month (or $150/seat/year on annual billing), prorated automatically when someone joins or leaves. During the free trial you can use the 3 included seats; subscribe to add more. ### How is agent / API usage counted? The plan includes 1,000 agent units a month, shared across your API keys and sessions. Most tool calls cost 1 unit; territory scoring costs 10 (it runs a full model pass), and map rendering or sharing costs 5. Beyond the included units, subscribed workspaces keep going at $5 per 100 units, billed monthly; trial workspaces pause until the meter resets. ### How does CSV and XLSX import work? In the Targeting Workbench, you can upload a CSV, XLSX, or TXT file containing ZIP codes. AreaOps parses the file, validates each ZIP, and lets you preview and bulk-apply them to any brand in one click. You can also paste ZIP codes directly without a file. ### What happens if I cancel? Nothing is deleted. Your workspace becomes read-only: every brand, market, and ZIP assignment stays exactly where it was, you can still browse the map and the targeting workbench, and CSV export keeps working so you can take your territory with you. Subscribing again restores editing immediately. ### What if my payment fails? You keep full access during a grace period while we retry, and we'll email you. If it still hasn't gone through by the end of that window, the workspace becomes read-only, the same as cancelling. Nothing is deleted, and fixing the card restores editing right away. ### What's the difference between monthly and annual billing? Monthly is $47/month, cancel any time. Annual is $470 charged once a year, which works out to $39/month: two months free. Both are the same plan with the same features. ### Is there a free trial? Yes — 14 days, with everything in the plan: the same 3 seats and 1,000 agent units as paid. A card is required to start it, and it isn't charged until the trial ends. Cancel any time before then and you won't be charged; if you do continue, billing starts automatically at $47/month (or $470/year). Trials are one per organization, and cancelling later leaves your workspace read-only rather than deleted. ### Is there a usage ceiling? Paid plans include 1,000 agent/API units a month, then $5 per 100 units. There's also a monthly safety cap of 20,000 units so a runaway integration can't produce a surprise bill — contact support if you need it raised. On annual billing the subscription is paid once a year, and any agent/API overage is invoiced monthly as it occurs. ### Does AreaOps actually pay for itself? The math is straightforward. Local-service lead costs on Google LSA commonly run somewhere around $80–$180 each, though the real number depends heavily on your niche and your market — a roofing lead in a competitive metro and a lawn-care lead in a small one are not the same price. Whatever your number is, a typical 30-mile service radius sweeps in university rentals, new construction, and low-ownership ZIPs that rarely convert. Cutting even one of those from a live campaign, yours or a client's, usually saves more in a month than the plan costs. Results vary by market and vertical. ## Put a territory on the map Add your first brand, whether that's a service line, a client, or a franchise territory, and see the live map in under two minutes.
